Dead Man's (Elliptic) Curve
Oct. 21st, 2005 09:43 pmA rather interesting job posting showed up on one of the mailing lists I'm on. This requirement popped out at me:
10) Know the in's and out's of RSA code, and symmetric key encryption. Provide alternative to mitigate risk if RSA code is able to be cracked in polynomial time.
Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die? Suffocation under a roomful of one-time-pad key material could do that.
