I'm currently planning a trip LHR-AKL on SQ¹ -- I can easily construct one without a stopover, but even though I should be able to do a stopover in W class with FBC WNET226 (which also accrues on UA), SQ's web site doesn't agree. For extra credit, "FARES ARE IN GBP AND SALEABLE ONLINE ONLY" -- in other words, cheating by going to a travel agent won't work for this fare. Will probably have to ask in flyertalk.com or something, and if all else fails I'm sure I can go old-school and find a travel agent, who can probably get me something in S with a stopover.

Yay for complex pricing models.

¹ NZ is right out -- they want me to only take 20 kg total, and that is so not happening.
