There's always hope.

From The Arlington Advocate:

In a symbolic move, Romney said he would end the practice of having the governor's name placed on highway "Welcome to Massachusetts" signs. The signs will instead be inscribed with a welcome from the people of Massachusetts.

This is an encouraging sign—I wouldn't die of shock should Gov. Romney not turn out to be a northern version of Alex Penelas.
