Why I want out of DC
Mar. 14th, 2007 10:12 pm1005: Checked a car out of the motor pool for a drive around the Beltway. They wouldn't let me take a main battle tank.
1028ish: Oops. The Beltway collects accidents like there's no tomorrow, and today's no exception. Traffic comes to a screeching halt just before IKEA.

Fortunately, the event I was attending in Virginia was almost worth the trip. (Of course, details will not be posted here, but are available via work email.)
