Yay for work travel
Feb. 9th, 2007 06:00 pmGot funding for SANS 2007. So... flight gets in to SAN at 1130. The San Diego Zoo is open until 1600. If I grab a cab from the Grand Hyatt at 1300, I should be able to pick up a Nikon 80-400 4.5-5.6D VR rental, race over to the zoo, and have two hours filling up my four gigs of flash with ridiculously cute pictures of Su Lin, who is everyone's favorite Chinese agent on the West coast. (She's so cute that she must be up to something, and the proximity to SPAWAR can't be a coincidence.)
In my previous work with Butterstick, a.k.a. Tai Shan, I only had the 18-70 kit lens to work with, and it shows, but I did manage to make the front page of Panda Fix anyhow. This time, the world will ph34r my l33t photographic 5ki11z.
