As usual, Prof. Tanenbaum 0wn5 all. /var/mail ought to be /var/vpopmail, non-vhost maildirs are stored in $HOME, and SpamAssassin configuration's stopped for the night due to maildrop compilation issues (portage-related, I think) and having to get up at 0630. And I haven't even started with courier-imapd and SquirrelMail...
