Ding-dong, the dictator is dead
Mar. 21st, 2003 04:21 pmSince everyone else is commenting on the war, guess I'll have to chime in, too. I'm for it because there is no other way to get Saddam disarmed, as is shown by his complete lack of cooperation when not confronted with the threat of force. So far, so good—Qusay, Uday, and Saddam were whacked on the first day; Iraqi troops are surrendering as fast as they can; civilians are welcoming their liberation (the differences between the anti-war movement and Iraqis couldn't possibly be more pronounced); and the Iraqis are using weapons they claim not to possess.
In other news, here's an MP3 from a talk radio show where an Iraqi demolishes a spokesman for United for Peace & Justice.
