なぜ寝ていないの?疲れる。。。
Nov. 1st, 2002 12:28 amI really ought to be in bed now, but I've been agonizing over whether to install FreeBSD, OpenBSD, or Debian Linux. I decided on FreeBSD, although I wish it had journaling. The images are downloading overnight, and I'll burn-n-install in the morning. The Big Blue Room is cooling off, and I may go to Universal next week to use up the last day on my ticket.
MegaTokyo hasn't been updated yet, but I'm not going to wait for it. It sucks that Fred got laid off, although I'd love to see Warmth, which he's indicated his intention to develop.
That's all for now; I'll leave you with a not-particulaly-apropos quote from someone whom I'd love to see as Governor of Florida, if only he were running:
"The burden of [Lee Kuan Yew's] argument, laced with quotations from my critics, was that my proposals were part of a much wider American plan to bring democracy to China, a game in which Hong Kong was a mere pawn. I was the mouthpiece, but the plot was scripted by the United States… I limited my response to the observation that I hoped one day to have the right of reply—in Singapore."—Chris Patten, former Governor of Hong Kong
